Patio plants

In the La Serra greenhouse, we carefully grow pot and patio plants and flowering hanging plants. That’s how it all started for La Serra many years ago. We have consciously chosen to grow special varieties and sizes, so that we can offer our customers a distinctive range of products.

In the spring, we extend our opening hours because that’s our peak season for sales. This is the time of year when we’re also open for customers – which are mainly landscape gardeners, garden centres and other resellers – in the evenings and on Sundays. Early in the season, we supplement the range of products we grow here with pot and patio plants and herbs from southern Europe. These include feather and fan palms, citrus plants and olive trees: from small and subtle to large and full of character. We have beautiful, bushy herb plants like lavender and Moroccan mint in stock early in the season; we import them directly from Italy.
